tds has a monopoly in my small town, and as the only provider they do what they want when they want and consistently fail to provide the services they advertise and claim to offer.it is virtually impossible to get a service rep or customer service operator to do anything on the first try.
handed off repeatedly. tech rescheduled several times while i was trying to get new service installed. when the guy showed up he told me i cant get what i was sold. i ended up with no tv, they have discontinued cable, cant provide the new super fiber in my area.
and i have to go through them to get direct tv via satellite dish. if i choose to use dish for my satellite i loose my bundle price and my (slow) high speed internet price doubles. oh and i have to get a phone line that i have no use for and will never use.
it took 2 weeks to get to the point where i knew i couldn't get tv and internet.
and an additional 10 days to get the tv mess straightened out. internet is intermittent, and slow at best.
if there was another option i would take it.this is double the cost of the internet/tv package i had 20 minutes away.
